CES Cares $500 Challenge Campaign 2024

Helping Grant Life-Changing Wishes

In 2016, City Electric Supply (CES) partnered with Make-A-Wish® to support the organization in their mission to grant life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. Team members in Canada took it on as a personal goal to help the nonprofit bring hope, strength, and joy to thousands of children and their families. Since the beginning of the partnership, over $700,000 has been raised, with nearly $150,000 raised in 2022 alone. 

However, our quest to bring every child’s wish to life is far from over! In 2023, CES kicked off the $500 campaign, challenging branches nationally to raise money for the organization. The goal is to raise $50,000 toward enriching the lives of Canadian children and their families who endure the hardships of illness. To achieve this goal, CES is launching several campaign initiatives and hosting events across the country. 

A granted wish is a critical part of a child’s treatment journey. According to a recent study, 97% of adult former wish kids say they experienced improved mental and emotional health.
