To trailblaze means to be the first (or one of the first) to do something, allowing others to follow in that “path” and build on that progress. Many of our wish kids, and their families, are the true definition of a trailblazer. They are strong, powerful and resilient. They endure and overcome obstacles. They create their own path, walk their own journey and teach us things you can’t learn from the history books. Cole (wish angel – passed away in 2019) and Gabe (10 years old) are trailblazers in their own unique ways. By participating in this year’s Trailblaze for Wishes you are helping Gabe carry on the trailblazing legacy of Cole and all other wish children and wish angels. You will be given the power to create hope raise much needed funds to help grant life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.
Every step you take, every dollar you raise, YOU help pave the way, trailblaze, for a brighter tomorrow for our wish children and their families.
Follow us on social media throughout the 10-weeks for updates and to keep motivated!
Gabe, also know as #IronGabe, was diagnosed with cancer in 2017 when what he and his family thought was a two-week flu bug.
I wish to be a kid again
Cole was your typical bright-eyed, happy-go-lucky toddler boy when all of the sudden his parents noticed something off.
