2025 Event Site Overview
Thanks to our wonderful partnership with Aéroport de Montréal / Aérocité Internationale de Mirabel, we'll have the privilege of using the main apron with a different footprint again this year. Despite the expansion of airport activities seen mainly last year near the main apron, we'll still be able to use about a third of it by 2025. Which is very good news.
This reduced space on the main deck will enable us to keep the living areas (team set-up), the main tent and the village in the same place as our last 6 editions, so that you can enjoy the same extraordinary 48 HOUR RIDE experience.
Here's a provisional general plan showing where the different zones will be installed this year.
A few details :
Zone – Living Spaces (Yellow)
Given the new space constraints on the main deck, we're going to work in depth for the living areas.
Zone – Single Team Living Spaces; No changes. Each single team will be entitled to 10 feet of track frontage by 30 feet deep. It is requested not to put a small tent in the first 10 feet by 10 feet on the side close to the track.
Zone – Multiple Teams Living Spaces; Small change. You'll be asked to group up in multiples of 2 teams. Each group of 2 teams will be entitled to 10 feet of frontage on the track by 50 feet deep. This represents the same number of square feet for your small tents as in previous years. We ask that you refrain from putting small tents in the first 10 feet by 10 feet on the side close to the track.
Zone – Living Spaces (Fuchsia)
The Dormitory Tents zone will group together all the dormitory tents and will be set up behind ICAR's main pavilion (see pink on the general plan).
By moving the dormitory tents away from the living areas and the village, we'll reduce noise related to the event in this rest area.
