2024 GameStop Campaign
Faites un don!We are helping transform lives, one wish at a time
Every 2 hours, a child is diagnosed with a critical illness in Canada. Make-A-Wish® Canada creates life-changing wishes for these children and their families. Research shows children who have wishes granted can build the physical and emotional strength they need to fight a critical illness.
That's why we are fundraising! We have set an ambitious goal because we know with support from people like you, we will have a great chance at reaching it. The money raised will help bring every eligible child's wish to life, because a wish is an integral part of a child's treatment journey.
Since 2016, GameStop has raised over $1.37 MILLION through the annual fundraising campaign.

Join GameStop in supporting kids like Ollie!
Ollie is a young racing enthusiast who lives and breathes all things motorsport. Whether it’s watching races, his own racing, or mastering the virtual tracks, his passion for speed is undeniable. He’s not just a fan of racing; he’s a true racer at heart.
The 14-year-olds journey has been marked by several medical challenges. After facing the CMV virus, the medications he was on over-suppressed his immune system. This led to a blood disorder that caused his bone marrow to fail. Ollie underwent several treatment protocols and eventually his condition progressed into a rare bone marrow cancer called myelodysplasia which necessitated a bone marrow transplant. His little sister Scarlett became his bone marrow donor, providing him with the super cells he needed.
Ollie’s road to recovery has had its bumps, notably three kidney stones that were discovered had started to cause him intense pain which led to the disruption of his schooling. He required a series of surgeries to remove the kidney stones. Today, he is as healthy and strong as anyone!
When Ollie learned he was going to be granted a wish, he knew exactly what he wanted: a racecar simulator. Ollie’s dad, Rob, shared “He spends at least two hours every day using his rig and he absolutely loves it. It was a great distraction for him when he was going through his procedures for his stones.” Ollie’s very good at driving real race cars and his simulator has really helped him develop his skills.
