Make-A-Wish Canada ® – Newfoundland and Labrador Chapter, together with the RCMP will officially launch Wish Trees on November 24, 2021. This annual initiative has been instrumental in granting over 40 life-altering wishes to children in our province diagnosed with critical illnesses. Now more than ever, the need to support Wish Kids and their families has never been as significant as we seek to grant wishes to every eligible child in Newfoundland and Labrador.
We are humbled that Wish Trees continue to grow, with the participation of 13 RCMP detachments in Newfoundland and Labrador. With every $25.00 donation, a red Christmas tree bulb will change to white – we are hoping for a white Christmas!
This Holiday Season will continue to be reimagined – gatherings will be limited to fewer people, and we will look for new ways to spark joy and create hope this holiday season. Perhaps you may feel so inspired to place a Wish Tree on your own property or business and illustrate unity with us as we grant life changing wishes to our province’s critically ill children. Should you choose to participate on your own, we would love to share your Wish Tree celebration! If so desired, please send us a picture of your own Wish Tree by emailing the contact information below.
Make-A-Wish® creates life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. We are on a quest to bring every eligible child's wish to life because a wish is an integral part of a child's treatment journey. Help us make a child’s wish come true this holiday season by donating to our 36th annual RCMP Wish Trees.
