Hello, my name is Julia Notebomer and I am 13 years old. I swim competitively with the Wilmot Aquatic Aces. This year I have decided to attempt to swim across Lake Erie (20km) to fundraise for Make-A-Wish and become the youngest to ever do this.  I started open water swimming when I was  10. I started by doing a 1km race and fell in love with open water swimming. The next year I decided to try the 3.8km. Which went very well! Last year I swam a 12.8km Swim for the Cure. I have fundraised over the last years for Camp Trillium (Camp for kids with cancer) and for Cancer research.

I decided to fundraise for Make-A-Wish Southwestern Ontario because I believe that every kid should have the opportunity to do fun things and to just be a kid. With your support I hope to make many wishes come true!
