Ice Cream for Wishes 2024

How sweet it is! Our “Ice Cream for Wishes” fundraising campaign, in support of Make-A-Wish Nova Scotia, is entering its fourth summer. In 2023, proceeds from this incredible campaign raised over $7,000 across the province, to help grant wishes for local children living with critical illnesses. 

Currently, there are over 80 children in Nova Scotia waiting to receive the transformative power of their wish. Every dollar raised brings us one step closer to granting a life-changing wish for one of these children. Knowing that their wish is on the horizon helps wish children summon the strength they need for their journey toward healing. 

Please consider supporting Make-A-Wish Nova Scotia this summer, by making a donation through this webpage, and/or by supporting one (or more) of our participating vendors: 

• Chill Zone Cool Treats, Sydney, NS - Supporting throughout the summer
• COWS Ice Cream, both Halifax Waterfront locations as well as Bedford location - Donating $1 from every cone, sundae and milkshake sold on July 21, 2024.
• Creamy Treat Ice Cream, Pubnico, NS - Supporting throughout the summer
• Falmouth Scoops, Falmouth, NS - Supporting this campaign with special dipped cones all summer long!
• Doucette's Market and Clay's Confectionary Store, Ingonish, NS - Supporting this campaign all summer long!
• The Fog Company, Halifax Waterfront, will donate $5 from every "Wish Cone" sold over Natal Day weekend (August 3 - 5, 2024)!
• The Front Porch Cafe & Ice Cream Bar, Mulgrave, NS - Stay tuned for details.
• Fundy Scoops, North River, NS - On July 21st, 2024, choose the dollar amount you want to donate when you pay for your ice cream!
• Granny's Seafood Restaurant & Ice Cream Bar, Five Islands, NS - Donating 50% of ice cream treat sales on July 21st, 2024
• MA's Ice Cream Stand, Canso Waterfront, NS - Donating $1 from every ice cream sold on July 21st, 2024
• Polar Bear Express, Musquodoboit Harbour, NS - Supporting this campaign during their 25th anniversary celebration on Monday, August 5, 2024
