WHAT IS THE TRAILBLAZE CHALLENGE?

Designed as an endurance event, the Trailblaze Challenge gives participants the opportunity to hike a one-day 40km journey through the beautiful forests of E.C. Manning Provincial Park. This hike will be an amazing day spent in nature to raise much needed funds to grant the wishes of children in British Columbia and the Yukon. This is a hike, not a race, and we welcome all levels of experience from novice to advanced outdoor enthusiasts.

ABOUT E.C. MANNING PROVINCIAL PARK AND THE TRAILS.

The park was named in memory of Ernest Callaway Manning, Chief Forester of British Columbia during the 1930s, who was instrumental in developing plans for setting land aside for future generations to enjoy. The Trailblaze Challenge will be a day to enjoy this land, taking you past turquoise lakes, along rivers, to a waterfall, through meadows and lush green forests. The trail system will include the Similkameen River, Little Muddy, North & South Gibson Pass, Strawberry Flats, Three Falls, and Lightning Lake Chain Trails.
