Transform lives, one wish at a time.
Since 2001, Make-A-Wish®, in Quebec, has made wishes that change the lives of children with critical illnesses.
We are on a mission to bring every eligible child's wish to life, because a wish is an integral part of a child's treatment journey. Research shows children who have wishes granted can build the physical and emotional strength they need to fight a critical illness. The experience of a wish transforms the lives of children with a critical illness. When a wish is granted, the child replaces fear with confidence, sadness with joy, and anxiety with hope.
The experience of a wish transforms not only the lives of children, but of all the people around them. Family, friends, volunteers, medical team, neighbors ... the whole community is involved in fulfilling a wish. All these people will feel the power of the effects that a wish provides in the long run.

United we stand
On October 1, 2019, Children’s Wish Foundation of Canada and Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Canada joined forces, with the goal of granting the wish of every eligible child across the country. United as Make-A-Wish® | Rêves d’enfantsMD, our mission is to provide children with life-threatening illnesses the opportunity to realize their most heartfelt wish, giving them the strength to endure their treatments and build resilience.
The Quebec office is affiliated with Make-A-Wish Canada and is also part of Make-A-Wish International, the world's largest non-profit organization dedicated to making children's wishes come true. Active in nearly 50 countries, Make-A-Wish has made more than 500,000 wishes since its inception in 1980, with the help of more than 43,000 volunteers.
Together, generous donors, supporters, staff and volunteers across the country help grant more than four wishes per day, on average. Since 1983, Make-A-Wish and Rêves d’enfants has granted over 33,000 wishes across the country, over 1,600 last year alone.
