27th Annual Run the Rock

Donate To This Campaign

On behalf of the Run the Rock crew, we are inviting you to support the 16 crew members from the Canadian Navy frigate HMCS ST. JOHN’S in their 27th year of helping to grant heartfelt wishes for critically ill children in Newfoundland & Labrador. With over 1 million dollars raised in the last 26 years, this event truly makes a huge impact, providing joy to so many children across our province thanks to our friends at Her Majesty’s Canadian Ship – St. John’s.

With the pandemic slowly winding down, we continue to work hard, remain mission-driven, and ensure we can approve more wish referrals each day. As we plan for Run the Rock 2022, we are more motivated than ever during the province’s “Come Home Year” to raise awareness and funds to grant life changing wishes. This year’s event will take place from July 7th-18th with 14 sailors running over 900 km to support our wish kids and their families. You can find them across the province during the journey to raise $100,000 (10 wishes!).

Meet our Wish Ambassador

Make-A-Wish® creates life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. We are on a quest to bring every eligible child's wish to life because a wish is an integral part of a child's treatment journey. Research shows children who have wishes granted can build the physical and emotional strength they need to fight a critical illness. Please know that all money raised by this event stays within the province, granting wishes to children and their families in Newfoundland and Labrador.
