Heroes Challenge Edmonton 2023

Right now there are over 340 wishes waiting in Northern Alberta - we need your help to grant them.

What is it?  

Teams of 10-12 people will participate in exciting challenges at West Edmonton Mall. Challenges run the gamut from easy activities like the Birds of Paradise paddle boats and minute-to-win-it games, to more heart pumping activities like riding the Space Shot at Galaxyland and ziplining! Each completed challenge earns your team points to win the day. Each team will be paired with a wish kid captain to inspire your journey. The day wraps up with a party at Fantasyland Hotel where refreshments will be served, and prizes will be awarded.

How can I get involved?

Register a Superhero Squad (squads can include coworkers, family members, friends). Your first challenge is to raise $10,000 to help us grant wishes to children with critical illnesses. It’s a great team building exercise your team will remember for years to come. You don’t need any special skills to participate, just a willingness to raise funds in your community.

How do I raise the team participation goal?

Fundraise your participation goal leading up to the event and/or make a corporate donation. Reach out to your family, employers, and friends to donate to your team page. Make-A-Wish can help provide ideas and some branded materials.
