Calgary Dragon Boat Festival 2023

Experience a once in a life-time opportunity to race in the Calgary Dragon Boat Charity Race! Join Team Make-A-Wish for a fun-filled day as we raise money for life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.

We are in search of 21 enthusiastic and energetic individuals (20 rowers and 1 drummer) to join our team. Each member is responsible for fundraising $1,000 for the opportunity to row team Make-A-Wish to victory! OR sponsor a spot for $1,000 and we will fill it with a local wish parent or kid! No experience is necessary, but we do require you to be comfortable with the water.

Team members please note that in order to participate you will need to commit to a practice run at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, August 11 at North Glenmore Park. Here you will have the opportunity to learn from the Dragon Boat Society through dry land training and on water training.
