Welcome to the first ever Dancing For Wishes with Jeremy Dallas in support of Make-A-Wish Canada!

Together with the help of our amazing partners, we have put together a fun-filled country swing dance competition at Honky Tonk Calgary.

Jeremy Dallas had his most recent success at radio with his hit song 'Honky Tonk World'. To celebrate this achievement, he has partnered with Make-A-Wish Canada in an effort to raise enough funds to symbolically grant 10 wishes across Canada on his Homecoming Tour. This Kick-Off event has a fundraising goal of $5000.00. Please join us for an evening of country swing dancing and live music by a local acoustic opening act followed by Jeremy Dallas.

How to compete:

Simply register on this page and answer a few simple questions. Registering for the event is FREE, however, we do ask that a minimum of $25 is raised in order to compete and be considered for any prize categories.

To register you will sign up in one of these 3 ways:

  1. Partnership As a team of two people, you are going to arrive at Honky Tonk knowing who your dancing partner is for the Partnership competition. This could be a friend, family member, life-partner or even a colleague. Maybe you’ve been dancing together for years or perhaps you’ve never danced together before but you’re going to give it a try tonight; either way your two-person team is no surprise come competition time!
  2. Jack & Jill: Lead You are registering as a ‘Lead’ for the Jack and Jill competition, and you will be randomly paired with your partner before the competition begins.
  3. Jack & Jill: Follow You are registering as a ‘Follow’ for the Jack and Jill competition, and you will be randomly paired with your partner before the competition begins.

    **Please note that all registrations have no gender-based requirements. The only requirement on the dancefloor is clearly distinguishing who the Lead and who is the Follow in any given duo**

Please be advised parking is a challenge as this is downtown Calgary. Limited parking available. If you have any special requirements, please contact event location 24 hours prior to event date.
Please no professional contestants. We want this to be a fun and fair event for all.
