Right now there are over 40 wishes waiting in the Central Alberta communities and we need your help to grant them.

What is the Heroes Challenge?

Corporate & Community Teams of 5 adults will participate in exciting challenges at The Dome in Red Deer. Challenges run the gamut from easy activities like Pictionary, Name That Tune and relay races to more sports themed activities utilizing the batting cages, soccer field and more! Each completed challenge earns your team points to win the day. Each team will be paired with a wish kid captain to inspire your journey. Lunch will be provided, and the day wraps up with a celebration where prizes will be awarded.

We encourage you to create team costumes and really embrace the spirit of the day!

How can i get involved?

Register a Superhero Squad (squads can include coworkers, family members, friends). Your first challenge is to raise $5,000 to help us grant wishes to children with critical illnesses. It’s a great team building exercise your team will remember for years to come. You don’t need any special skills to participate, just a willingness to raise funds in your community.

How do I raise the team participation goal?

Fundraise your participation goal leading up to the event and/or make a corporate donation. Reach out to your family, employers, and friends to donate to your team page. Make-A-Wish can help provide ideas and some branded materials. Check out the participant tool kit for some suggestions.

By participating you are helping grant life changing wishes!
