In 2016, City Electric Supply (CES) partnered with Make-A-Wish® to support the organization in their mission to grant life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. Team members in Canada took it on as a personal goal to help the nonprofit bring hope, strength, and joy to thousands of children and their families. Since the beginning of the partnership, over $900,000 has been raised, with over $160,000 raised in 2023 alone. However, our quest to bring every child’s wish to life is far from over!

In 2023, CES kicked off the $500 campaign, challenging branches nationally to raise money for the organization. The goal is to raise $75,000 toward enriching the lives of Canadian children and their families who endure the hardships of illness. To achieve this goal, CES is launching several campaign initiatives and hosting events across the country.

Looking ahead through 2025, we're gearing up for an exciting array of events at your local branch! Get ready for more golf tournaments, branch events, and fun fundraisers coming your way. About Make-A-Wish Canada:

A wish gives the sick child and their family the strength to face the devastating journey ahead of them. 95% of medical providers observed that wishes gave children strength to fight their critical illness. Wishes provide relief and hope, helping the family focus on something other than pain, fear and uncertainty. Make-A-Wish Canada’s goal is to grant the wish of every eligible child in Canada. In 2024, we granted 2,011 life changing wishes.
