The Hospital Activity Book for Children

The Hospital Activity Book for Children began in 1995 as an idea when our publishing company was donating children’s videos and books to the local hospital. The book is designed for professionals and parents to communicate with children about their thoughts, fears, and concerns while experiencing critical situations.  As proud partners with Make-A-Wish, we contribute yearly to help make wishes comes true, with our donations exceeding over $900,000 since 2012.

As each day passes, children across Canada continue to experience unimaginable challenges due to critical illness. Their childhoods, once filled with dreams and laughter, are replaced with fear, anxiety and loneliness.  

A wish has the power to transform their experience, offering relief and hope, helping wish children and their families to focus on something other than pain, fear and uncertainty. Medical professionals see first-hand how a wish is essential to a child’s treatment and helps improve their health outcome.
