April is World Wish Month™—a time that holds deep meaning for all of us at Make-A-Wish Canada. This month marks the anniversary of the very first wish that sparked a movement, inspiring a mission that has since brought hope, strength, and joy to children facing critical illnesses across the country.

And we’re celebrating an incredible milestone – 40,000 wishes granted for kids across Canada! Because of the generosity of Canadians like you, countless children and families have experienced meaningful and memorable moments that have not only brought joy but have also improved their health outcomes.

But right now, thousands of sick children are still waiting for their wish to be granted – to receive the hope and healing a wish can provide. That’s why we’re stepping up for wishes! Throughout April, we will walk, run, roll or dance to log 40,000 steps and grant more wishes for kids.
