Heroes Challenge Halifax 2025

Heroes Challenge is returning to the Mic Mac Mall on Wednesday, September 17th! Mark your calendars and build your “Superhero Squad” (your coworkers, friends, and family)! 

What is it?  

Your team (of up to 10 people) will participate in an exciting day of fun and action-packed challenges, at the Mic Mac Mall, in Dartmouth NS, on Wednesday, September 17th! With every challenge your team completes, you will earn points to save (win) the day. There will be a variety of entertaining challenges for everyone. Your first mission - fundraise $10,000 as a team! On the event day, everyone will gather at the Mic Mac Mall, for a day packed with thrilling challenges, sponsored by our partners and hosts. With points up for grabs throughout the day, every challenge brings excitement. After the challenges, teams will indulge with a delicious lunch, refreshing drinks, and the company of fellow participants. Prizes await the top teams, but the ultimate victory lies in bringing hope and joy to wish kids' lives. Let's celebrate your role in making wishes come true and unite as heroes, like wish kids are every day.   

To help inspire your team, each Superhero Squad will be captained by a local wish kid – whose wish story will encourage you to fundraise, complete your challenges and go above and beyond! Let's celebrate your victory of bringing hope and joy to wish kids! 

 
Why should I join? 

Right now, there are over 80 children waiting for their wishes in Nova Scotia – we need your help to grant them. 

Every 20 minutes, a child is diagnosed with a critical illness. Every one of these kids needs a wish to help give them strength and joy. Wishes are more than a nice to have, they are a need to have, and they are an integral part of a child’s treatment journey. Research shows that wishes can help children feel stronger, more energetic, and more willing and able to battle their critical illnesses.

How can I get involved? 

Register a Superhero Squad (squads can include coworkers, family members, friends). Your first challenge will be to fundraise $10,000, as a team, to help grant wishes for children with critical illnesses. You don’t need any special skills to participate, just a willingness to raise funds in your community. It’s a great team building exercise your team will remember for years to come!
