Scotiabank Makes Wishes Come TrueDonate To This Campaign
The Community & Awareness Action Team is excited to participate in Make-A-Wish again this summer! Help our team reach the goal of $5000 and grant children’s wishes. The hope that a wish brings is something that YOU can help create for children living with critical illnesses.
There will be games! There will be prizes! Your teammates will be getting pied in the face!
In 2019, we helped to grant wish kids like Elliot, Kate, and Oliver. Because of our support, Elliot was able to attend an LA Kings home game, Kate was able to enjoy a day at the West Edmonton Mall and Oliver was able to take a tropical vacation to see a volcano! Each child was able to break from their usual routines of tests, surgeries or time in a hospital and just relax, feeling like a kid again. A wish is much more than a “nice to have.” It is a critical part of a child’s treatment journey. 77% of adult former wish kids say their wish gave them direction in life. 98% of parents felt the wish experience gave them the chance to be a “normal” family again.
A wish begins with hope, and hope begins with you.
Join the Community & Awareness Action Team as we don’t wait for hope. We create it.
