This year I am gathering my courage (a very limited supply!) and participating in Make-A-Wish® Rope for Hope, rappelling down the side of Toronto City Hall, to help grant the wishes of children living with critical illnesses.
I remember my first rappel. It was terrifying - but not nearly as terrifying as what the beneficiaries of this programme are going through. Those of us fortunate enough to live free of the kind of fear these kids face every day should contribute to making their experience better - in whichever way we can. Which, for most of us, means chipping in some bucks.
Every donation counts. Your commitment will help move Make-A-Wish closer to their vision of granting the wish of every eligible child in communities across Canada.
Please donate and support me in Make-A-Wish Rope for Hope!
