This year, I am participating in Make-A-Wish‘s Rope for Hope event for the second time. I will be rappelling down One London Place, the tallest building in the city to help grant the wishes of children living with critical illnesses.
I love to hear stories about wishes from my daughter. A wish come true helps children feel stronger, more energetic, more willing and able to battle their critical illness. For many of them, it marks a turning point in their fight against their illnesses.
Last year Make-A-Wish Southwestern Ontario granted 106 wishes, more than ever before. They are also working with over 200 families right now that are waiting for your wishes. You can help make a difference for these families. Your support will allow Make-A-Wish to continue to create powerful wish experiences, improving a child’s state of mind, replacing fear with happiness and helping them to feel like a normal kid again. All funds raised stay in Southwestern Ontario so you will be helping kids in our community.
Please donate and support me in Make-A-Wish Rope for Hope!
