Make A Wish Canada is helping children and their families. I now work for the MAW NB chapter as a Development Officer. Last week on day 4 with MAW, I had the "life changing" opportunity to deliver a puppy to a sweet young girl. Her life in a very brief time went from playing to having her 4 limbs removed to keep her alive. The part that I inspired me is that she is "LIVING" she has adapted to this new life. She was so happy as I put Lily in her arms and I heard her mom say she has waitied a long time for this.
Please consider donating or better yet jump on the challenge as a individual or with a team. Thanks
I am helping to transform lives, one wish at a time!
I've signed up for Make-A-Wish® Trailblaze for Wishes - an 8-week virtual event where I choose my challenge and blaze the trails to help raise funds to help children with critical illnesses in Canada.
A child is diagnosed with a critical illness every 20 minutes. With three new children facing critical illnesses each and every hour, the need for donations is continuous.
Make-A-Wish Canada’s goal is to bring every eligible child's wish to life. In 2021, they granted over 900 life changing wishes. Challenges related to COVID-19 persisted through last year, and there are still thousands of wishes waiting to be granted. We cannot grant those wishes without your help.
That's why I'm participating. I've set an ambitious goal because I know with support from people like you, I will have a great chance at reaching it. The money raised will help bring every eligible child's wish to life, because a wish is an integral part of a child's treatment journey.
Will you help me reach my goal by donating what you can, so we can make wishes come true, like Noah's!
