Wish kids face a lot of challenges. They face critical illnesses, and they face uncertainty about their future. They face the facts about their sickness, and they face an often-harsh reality.

Make-A-Wish Canada has helped them since 1983. With generous support from donors, we have granted more than 37,000 wishes, lifting kids beyond their medical conditions and fulfilling once-in-a-lifetime dreams.

Thanks to donors, kids, families and communities, we celebrate a successful history of granting wishes and changing lives. But with thousands of kids expected to be newly diagnosed with a critical illness this year, we have more to do if we are to reach every eligible child.
