• Is there parking available?

Yes, parking is available in and around the Fairmont Palliser, including the Calgary Tower parkade or in outdoor lots/along the street on 9th Avenue.

 

• Where do funds raised go?

All funds raised at Trees of Joy will provide invaluable support for our mission: create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.

A child is diagnosed with a critical illness every 20 minutes. With three new children facing critical illness each and every hour, our need for donation is continuous. Our goal at this event is to generate enough funds to grant the wishes of 12 children in Southern Alberta. We still have thousands of wishes waiting to be granted. We cannot grant those wishes without your help.

 

• Will food and drinks be available?

Food and beverages will be available to all wish kids, families, and corporate guests.

 

• How many corporate team members can attend?

Each corporate team can bring up to 10 members to participate in the event.

 

• Can wish families bring additional guests?

Wish kids are welcome to bring their immediate family, including parents and siblings.

 

• Will supplies be provided?

All corporate teams will purchase and plan out their tree decorations ahead of the event and bring them with them to the event. It’s a good idea to pre-hook ornaments on hooks to make decorating go faster! Make-A-Wish will have a limited supply of extra ornaments in case any break or replacements are needed.
