Santa Claus Lane

Santa Claus Lane is a multi-family street that has come together to make Christmas and the holiday season special for all. In the past they have done a huge Halloween display and raised $2,778.00 for Make-A-Wish. Their group discussed a few different charities and Make-A-Wish was the charity that they chose to support.

Jodi's Trail Run

In 2020, Jodi chose to support Make-A-Wish Canada by setting out on a huge challenge and fundraising along the way. He ran across the entire Cabot Trail in Cape Breton. He completed the 298KM challenge in just over 44 hours. After, his trail run in 2020, Jodi set out on another challenge in support of Make-A-Wish in 2021 called the Adventure run. Jodi was able to raise over $15,000 in 2020 and approximately over $5000 in 2021 from donations received by his network of friends and family.

Port Stanley Christmas Lights

My best advice for anyone wanting to run an event is stay organized. For us Dennis was the creative display person but I was the list maker and contact person. Together we set parameters, determined the needs to achieve those goals, who can help and how to use social media. Don’t be afraid to ask family, friends, co-workers and neighbors to give a hand.
