The Westin Edmonton and I are helping transform lives, one wish at a time!
This year, I am showing up as a WOMAN FOR WISHES for Make-A-Wish® Canada, to help raise funds to help children with critical illnesses in my community! Marriott Hotels believes in supporting the communities in which we operate, and looks for ways to support the vitality and wellbeing of children and their families.
I have two children, 6 and 8. Many of our associates have children, and we all would like to show our support to families who are going through the agony of a sick child. We would like to help raise money so that they can have a temporary break from dealing with illness, doctors and hospitals.
Did you know that a child is diagnosed with a critical illness every 20 minutes? With three new children facing critical illnesses each and every hour, the need for donations is continuous.
We have an ambitious goal of raising $10,000 and I know with support from my team, people like you, we will reach our goal! 100+ diverse women across Canada are coming together to raise $1 million dollars in 2024. The money raised will help bring every eligible child's wish to life, because a wish is an integral part of a child's treatment journey.
