For over 15 years, the generous SPFK community has come together to play ball, have fun, and raise much-needed funds for Make-A-Wish. This community-organized softball tournament has raised more than $1.2M to grant the heartfelt wishes of kids living with critical illnesses, impacting thousands of families and the communities they live in.

A child is diagnosed with a critical illness every 20 minutes. With three new children facing critical illnesses each hour, our need for donations is continuous.
Spring is a time of new beginnings that brings renewed hope as we emerge from the dark clouds of isolation and anxiety that hovered over us for the past 2 years. With hope, we find the resilience to restart the dreams that we have put on hold and feel the warmth of reconnecting with loved ones and friends. But for many children with critical illnesses, doctor’s visits, painful treatments, and isolation continue to be their “normal”, robbing them of the simple joys of childhood.
In 2019, Make-A-Wish Canada granted over 1,600 life changing wishes. But 2020 and 2021 were very different and as a result of COVID-19, thousands of wishes are waiting. Now more than ever, we need your support in 2022 to get back to pre-pandemic levels of wishes being granted.
