Caltronics Cruisers are heading out on a 1-day ride, kicking off with a lunch at Big Sky BBQ in Okotoks and few words to let you know why we are riding and who we are supporting this year. The ride will carry on south with a pit stop in Longview and then onto the beautiful Highwood Pass in Kananaskis Country – Canada’s highest mountain highway! 

There will be a snack break along Highway 40 before we continue North to Highway 1A and eventually enter Cochrane. Our day will wrap up here with camaraderie and good eats at Canadian Brewhouse. By participating in this event you are helping grant wishes for children with critical illnesses. Wishes provide kids hope when they need it most, and research shows they have effects on children’s overall well-being and health outcomes. 

In fact, wishes have proven physical and emotional benefits that can give children a higher chance of survival. When a wish is granted, a child replaces fear with confidence, sadness with joy and anxiety with hope.
