This year, wish alumni Everly and Allyson Make-A-Wish Canada Saskatchewan Region Chapter Director are partnering together WOMAN FOR WISHES for Make-A-Wish® Canada, to help raise funds to help children with critical illnesses in Saskatchewan.
Did you know that a child is diagnosed with a critical illness every 20 minutes? With three new children facing critical illnesses each and every hour, the need for donations is continuous.
About Everly
Everly is a warm and cheerful 6-year-old who is happiest when she’s around family and friends. Her hobbies include crafting, making smores on an open fire, camping with her family, and everything to do with cats. To satisfy her love of snuggling felines and caring for animals, she wants to run a cat hotel when she’s older. For now, Everly is attending Grade 1 and is staying busy with her classmates. At six months old Everly was diagnosed with spinal muscular atrophy, a nervous system disorder that causes muscles to weaken and become smaller. After a trip to Calgary’s Calaway Park “blew her mind”, her dad Brad says it was no surprise that she wanted to visit another theme park. In 2023, Everly’s wish to go to a theme park in Florida came true. When asked about the theme park, Everly thought it was a cool and magical place.
